Our new Colombia is made up of coffees from several neighboring towns in Narino including La Union, Buesaco, Taminango, and some others. For this reason, we call the coffee Veradas Vecinos, literally “neighboring towns.”
Their high elevation (over 2000 meters above sea level) and proximity to the equator make these towns prime coffee growing land. Like nearly all Colombian coffees, this is washed processed. For optimal quality control, it is dried on raised and covered beds.
We’re excited to share this coffee with you, and we hope you’ll taste the fruit and sugary notes that we love. Specifically, look for caramel apple, almond, and cinnamon. This coffee shines in every brewing method we’ve tried so far, so go crazy with this one!
